Operator: Kishu Software Works

Classroom records

Student names, dates of birth, schools, grades, and enrollment details, along with household and guardian names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses, are used to manage rosters and contacts. Accommodation notes and other notes you enter are also saved.

Course and venue details, class schedules, attendance, teaching records, homework, grades, evaluations, communication history, tuition, invoices, and payments are used for daily classroom management, invoices and receipts, and CSV or PDF exports. Change and deletion history, sync status, and error categories are also stored.

Storage and iCloud sync

Classroom data is saved on your device. If you choose iCloud sync, the data and information needed for syncing are also stored in your Apple Account’s iCloud and synced across devices using the same account. You can choose to keep data on the device only.

Student and guardian rosters and accounting data are not automatically sent to the operator’s servers. Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to information handled through iCloud.

Notifications and app lock

If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders for classes, attendance checks, and homework deadlines. You can change permission and lock-screen display in your device’s settings.

The operating system handles Face ID, Touch ID, and device-passcode authentication for app lock. The app receives only the authentication result, not facial data, fingerprints, or the passcode.

Export and communication with guardians

Exporting CSV or PDF files and copying or sharing messages passes information to the destination, app, or recipient you choose. It may include student, guardian, or billing details, so check the content and recipient before sharing. The recipient or service manages the information after it is sent.

Purchases, trials, and usage

Apple handles App Store downloads, purchases, and refunds. The operator does not receive payment-card details. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for how Apple handles your information.

Purchase status, transaction identifiers, and trial start dates are used to provide purchased features and check the usage period. The app does not serve ads, track users, or use third-party usage analytics.

Retention and deletion

Classroom records are kept until updated or deleted. The student personal-data “Anonymize” and “Delete” actions process the names, contacts, and other information shown on the confirmation screen. Some records, including accounting records and change or deletion history, remain.

Shared household contacts used by siblings may remain. Check free-text fields in other records, exported CSV or PDF files, and messages already shared, and delete them separately as needed. Changes and deletions also sync through iCloud, but other devices may take time to reflect them.

Removing the app or turning off sync does not delete all data in iCloud or exported files. To remove all copies, check the current device, iCloud, other devices, and export destinations separately.

Existing backups and cloud copies may still contain information from before deletion. Deleting data in the app does not change those copies; manage or delete them according to each storage destination’s settings.

For students and guardians

To review, correct, or delete classroom records, contact the classroom that entered them. Classroom staff should provide information about how the data will be used and check any consent needed before entering or sharing it. Please leave out student or guardian names, contact details, and grades that are not needed for a support inquiry to the operator.

Information received through support

Names, email addresses, messages, and attachments received by email are used to answer inquiries, follow up, and investigate problems.

Email services handle the sending, receiving, and storage of support messages as needed to provide support. Information is kept for as long as needed for that purpose and deleted when no longer needed.

Personal data is not shared with third parties without the person’s consent, except as provided by law.

The operator takes measures to protect personal data it holds from unauthorized access, disclosure, and loss. Details of these measures are available on request to the extent that disclosure would not compromise security.

Requests to access, correct, or delete information

For questions about this policy or requests to access, correct, stop the use of, or delete support information held by the operator, email [email protected]. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law after verifying your identity.

Updates to this policy

If our data practices change, this page and its update date will be revised.
